On Wednesday, September 23 Hibla Gerzmava opens a series of her performances of the role of Liù in Franco Zeffirelli’s golden production of Puccini’s Turandot at the Metropolitan Opera, New York. Hibla will appear on the stage alongside Christine Goerke as Turandot and Marcelo Álvarez as Calaf. Paolo Carignani conducts. Further performances take place on September 26, 30, October 3, November 7 & 12.
